If you are one of those people who can not bear to throw away, or recycle your favourite magazines then here is a superb idea for you. Instead of collecting those mags and allowing them to gather dust and create clutter, use them. That is right, use them.

Set aside some alone time, take out a stack of those mags, a pair of scissors, and tape or glue. Then start clipping out any pictures that promote the life you want to create in the next year. Organize the pictures in a collage and tape/glue them to a poster board, old folder or whatever else is handy. If you prefer to keep things simple, just take a photo of the collage and make it your computer screen saver. This will ensure that you are reminded of your intentions on a very regular basis.
Obviously, since you will be left with cut up mags, you will be inclined to finally recycle them. You can make new collages for specific areas of your life, and revise the ones you already have as often as you please. This is a productive use of materials just lying around, and your vision board will be a motivator in several ways.
